Paul & I are so happy with the results from our family shoot. Callum is such a talented photographer, who not only is good at what he does but he’s genuinely passionate about it to. The afternoon just flew by and our little girl (the main focus of the shoot) Isobel completely fell in love with him, which resulted in some breath taking pictures. How he managed to capture such fabulous pictures of a child that doesn’t really stay still for more than a few seconds is an utter miracle! It was also a bonus to get some shots of our dogs too. The effort and care put into the retouching of the shots were amazing, expertly executed – and very subtle, although I can imagine probably took hours to get right. So be in no doubt this guy is good, he isn’t the run of the mil hideous studio based photographer who charges a small mortgage to get one shot, he unassuming, friendly, approachable and will work extremely hard to get you natural non-posed pictures you will treasure for a lifetime. We were absolutely delighted to find Callum. We were specifically looking for a photographer who could capture natural images of our girls, and thrilled that he came to our home to take the pictures, where the girls felt most comfortable. We had a very relaxed morning during the photo shoot (compared to our previous experience of having photos taken in a studio). The pictures are exactly what we had hoped for. Friends and family who have seen the pictures have, quite rightly, described them as “gorgeous” and “stunning”. Having been impressed by the work that Callum provided for a work colleague, we arranged a shoot at home in order to take some family portraits. While maintaining a very professional attitude, Callum was able to capture natural photographs showing everyone’s personality. Normally not the most comfortable with having our photos taken, Callum put us all at our ease and at no time did we feel posed or staged, and my two year old granddaughter very much enjoyed the whole experience. The resulting collection of pictures will be treasured always.
